A new video has been released by police showing acquitted killer, George Zimmerman being handcuffed. The dash cam footage was taken after authorities arrived on the scene investing a 911 call about a domestic disturbance. George Zimmerman's estranged wife Shellie, who made the call originally clamming that Zimmerman was threatening her and her father with a gun, later changed her story. No charges were filed at the time, but police have collected a broken iPad and are trying to retrieve any video evidence it may contain.
Zimmerman divided the nation after he shot and killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin last year. Zimmerman was acquitted of the crime two months ago and has since alienated his wife, who stood by his side through the whole horrible ordeal.
Since being found not guilty, George has went down a dangerous path, being pulled over two times in as many months for speeding. Zimmerman's increasing reckless behavior and lack of affections lead his wife to file for divorce last week.
Shellie Zimmerman finally had enough, telling ABC news last week:
"I stood by my husband through everything and I kind of feel like he left me with a bunch of broken glass that I'm supposed to now assemble and make a life…It's just heartbreaking,"
Monday's domestic disturbance marks the latest controversy for George Zimmerman. The acquitted killer can't seem to stay out of the headlines, or behind bars for that matter.
Meanwhile one of the attorneys that represented Zimmerman, in his murder trial, has dropped him from his client list. Mark O'Mara, who has taken a job as a CNN analyst, told his new employers:
"I am not representing George Zimmerman in his recent domestic altercation case or his impending divorce case,"
Although, O'Mara will still remain as Zimmerman's council for his defamation suit against NBC
