Notoriously hard to work with actor Charlie Sheen came "clean" to Jay Leno about why Selma Blair was let go from his new comedy Anger Management. Meanwhile, Sheen's Two and a Half Men character's long lost bi-sexual daughter is getting ready to join the cast of the CBS sitcom next week.
Charlie Sheen finally broke his silence about the controversy surrounding actress Selma Blair's sudden departure from Anger Management. Rumors had it that Sheen went off on one of his famous tirades after Blair supposedly questioned his work ethic. A likely story for the troubled actor, but Sheen recently told The Tonight Show's Jay Leno a different version of the story:
"One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the Two and a Half [Men] character and thought the Anger Management character was a little dull. So, um, that is not the case anymore. Her character leaves, and I start circling the drain. So it's really fun to watch and hella fun to play."
Speaking of Two and a Half Men, the show is undergoing sort of a sex change, with House actress Amber Tamblyn replacing "half man " Angus T. Jones.
Tamblyn has been cast in the CBS hit comedy as the late Charlie Harper's unknown daughter Jenny. Jenny's story has her coming to the house is search of Charlie. After she learns of her papa’s passing, she decides to stick around in order to get to know what remains of her newfound family.
The apple apparently doesn't fall far from tree, as like father like daughter, Jenny will also share her daddy's love for the ladies. Jenny will be a bisexual, allowing her to mimic her father's infamous ways, while still leaving room for sexual tension between her and co-star Ashton Kutcher.
The new season of Two and a Half Men premieres on CBS on Thursday, September 26 at 9:30 p.m.
