Crazed One Direction Fan Allegedly Kills Dog, Post Pics On Twitter

A crazed fan allegedly killed her own dog because of the band One Direction.

Twitter user @illumivato posted a photo of herself with her hands around her dog's neck, alleging that she would kill her pet if the boy band didn't follow her on Twitter. The twisted tweet, directed at band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, went unanswered.

She later posted a picture of herself seemingly sobbing, holding what looks a dead chihuahua.

On August 29, a fanatic One Direction fan known only by her twitter handle, wrote the band begging for their attention. The sick and desperate post of a young girl chocking her pet chihuahua came with a note that read: "Follow me, or I'll break my dog's neck."

This psycho never got a response from the boys, and has since posted yet another picture of her crying and holding what appears to be a lifeless dog. "I love you. Please follow me, my dog just died," that tweet read.

One Change.org user, Mya Fhya, petitioned Twitter to ban the girl:

"There is a person on Twitter by the name of @Illumivato who is posting pictures of her killing her dog by snapping its neck to get more followers. She has pictures of animals in blenders, a dog with guns up to its head, a picture of her strangling (what looks to be her mom), a young boy with duct tape tied around arms on the ground (and the list continues), basically implying that if she does not get more followers, she will kill all of these beings. I need this to be looked at by the police, government, and if nothing else, Twitter."

The account is currently suspended.

What do you think about this report? Has the age of social networking taken its toll on young kids who value their self-worth solely via media presence--seemingly living and dying by the amount of followers and likes they have? Or is this all a cruel hoax.

We here at Classicalite are praying it's the latter.
