October is almost here and that means that another thrilling season of FX’s hit horror anthology, American Horror Story is just around the corner. Season 5 of the series takes us to a haunted Hotel. Pop icon Lady Gaga is joining the cast of the series, playing a vampire-like character, The Countess. Gaga will also have a tight grip on White Collar's Matt Bomer and Freak Show’s Finn Wittrock. That is not all. This year will also be paying a visit to Season 1’s Murder House.
Recently, AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy opened up to Entertainment Weekly about the vampires in Season 5:
“I prefer the term ‘ancient blood virus. It’s not vampires. It’s really a form of hemophilia in a way. There’s no capes and fangs.”
According to EW’s report, Lady Gaga’s character, The Countess, will have the :ancient blood virus,” along with her followers Donovan, White Collar's Matt Bomer and Tristan, American Horror Story: Freak Show Dandy Mott actor Finn Wittrock.
Murphy went on to add that we will find out more about the virus around the middle of the season:
“Around the middle of the season, we sort of explore the origins of all that and her character and where [the virus] comes from.”
American Horror StorySeason 5: Hotel will also connect with the Season 1, will Murphy telling EW in another report:
“We do go to the Murder House for one episode.”
