Pop-country queen Taylor Swift is denying rumors that she will be working on a new song with Jennifer Lopez. The CMA frontrunner tells all.
E! News caught up the singer at the Toronto International Film Festival, who responded to the story:
“That’s the rumor. We collaborated at Staples Center. She came out and sang ‘Jenny From the Block’ with me, which was so much fun. We haven’t spoken further about collaborating but I did read that on the Internet, so that’s nice to know that it’s always accurate...I mean, for me, I love her, she’s amazing. She has my number, we text, but we haven’t texted about going into the studio.”
Rumors of the collaboration spread like wildfire, after Lopez surprised audiences by helping Tay close out her Red tour on August 25.
Taylor addressed her fans from the stage that night, when she said:
"When I was a little girl, you know you have your favorite song that you just would play over and over and over again and just blast it in your room, and you’d sing in front of your mirror into a hair brush?"
Queuing up Lopez' hit song "Jenny from the Block," the diva entered the stage, as Swift added:
"Los Angeles, this is my hair brush song"
Taylor later released footage from behind the scenes at the Staples Center after the show, where J-lo can be heard saying:
"Thank you so much for allowing our family to come and be a part of your family."
J-Lo also added :
"Thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and beautiful and loving me enough to have me be here tonight. I feel very blessed to be able to share the stage with you, and I just hope that everybody has the best show that they could ever have."
Taylor took to Twitter after the show, tweeting:
"Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT,
