KISS Gene Simmons' Home Searched By Child Crimes Cops: Is the Demon a Suspect?

Just a day after former Subway spokesman, Jared Fogle plead guilty to having sex with minors and child pornography charges, another pop culture figure is coming under fire. Kiss bassist Gene Simmons’ L.A. Home was searched by the Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. However, unlike Jared Fogle, The Demon Gene Simmons and his family are not suspects in this investigation.

On Thursday, L.A.P.D’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, searched the home of legendary rocker and reality TV star Gene Simmons. However, Los Angeles Police Department, Lt. John Jenal, was clear to point out that Simmons and his family are not being investigated, telling CNN:

"No members of the Simmons family are suspects in the case and were extremely cooperative.”

A rep for Gene Simmons released a statement to the press, explaining what happened (via LATimes):

"Members of the Los Angeles Police Department visited Mr. And Mrs. Simmons at their home to discuss a crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Mr. Simmons was away on tour with KISS. Neither Mr. Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation and they are cooperating fully with the investigation."
