Sharon Osbourne shared a little secret she has been keeping for over 35 years. The TV personalty admitted on her show, The Talk, that she once had a brief affair with Tonight Show host, Jay Leno.The "flingy wingy," as Osbourne calls it, happened before her marriage to Ozzy. Osbourne, longtime wife of Black Sabbath front man Ozzy Osbourne, says that her relationship with Leno was over long before her 1982 marriage to the Prince of Darkness.
Osborne said:
"When I was 25, I just moved to America, I had met my husband [Ozzy], but we weren't together. We were just friends. I didn't have a boyfriend. I never did date a lot at that time, anyway, because I was not very dateable."
Enter late night funny man, Jay Leno.
Long before his days as host of The Tonight Show, Leno was still a struggling stand up when he first met Sharon Arden, as she was known at the time. The relationship ended after Leno met the woman who is now his wife, Mavis Nicholson. Osbourne continues:
"He came to my house and he met me and then we had a little fling. And the fling was more fling for me, and not fling enough for him. Because a couple of months into it he brought around the real love of his life for me to meet. She was lovely and they took me to Fat Burger and they showed me around town. They were so kind to me and continued the friendship over the years."
Osbourne's confession was part of a segment on her TV show, titled "Big Secret."
