Kate Gosselin has been dealt another blow...this time as a failed author. Her upcoming cooking book’s presales are so low that the book is already considered a flop. Some are claiming that the reality-TV star is now desperate for money to support her kids.
Kate is having a pretty rough year. Not only is she suing her husband for hacking into her devices, but Kate Gosselin: Love is in the Mix is already a resounding failure.
Despite the fact that the book has a release date of September 24, it is currently ranked 16,000 on Amazon’s top 100 list. Wait...is that even possible?
Regardless, that does not bode well for Kate who was rumored to be shopping a reality show around Hollywood. According to sources, Kate is desperate for money and is currently unemployed. A source revealed to OK! Magazine how important the money would be to Kate:
“She needs the money. The kids are getting bigger, and she has no idea how she will pay for college--let alone the millions of other things that will need to be paid for. She feels that her ex-husband, Jon, is no help, and she thinks that she will have to do it all by herself.”
Maybe that’s one of the reasons she is suing Jon and the publisher of his tell-all book. Of course, if Gosselin is right about Jon hacking her computer and phone, then he should be punished.
Kate’s trying to do things differently this go around. Before, she didn’t respect her celebrity...but now she understands how valuable it was, as the insider revealed:
“She regrets how things turned out the first time and how much she took for granted. Her fall from fame was pretty humbling because she thought she was such hot stuff for so long.”
