‘Fosters’ Season 3 Finale Spoilers: Jonnor Jude & Connor Breakup, Jake T Austin Jesus Recast

Major Spoiler Alert: The Fosters Season 3 finale just aired and there are a lot of big changes. Callie (Maia Mitchell) has officially been adopted despite having sex with her, now brother, Brandon Foster (David Lambert). Groundbreaking LGBT couple Jude (Hayden Byerly) and Connor (Gavin MacIntosh) have broken up and are parting ways, with Connor heading to L.A. and Jesus has returned. Former Disney Channel star Jake T Austin left the role at the end of Season 2, but it has now been recast with Noah Centineo now taking over.

There were a lot of big changes in this Season 3 finale of The Fosters. One of them being the recasting of Jake T Austin’s character Jesus with actor Noah Centineo.

Another big change is Jude and Connor’s break up. Jude and Connor parted ways so that Connor can move to LA to be with more supportive family members.

Earlier in the year we spoke with Hayden Byerly about how Jude’s own “non traditional” family support system has affected him:

“I think that if he had a male and a female...a mom and a dad...that were accepting, then he would still be very open. [The fact that Jude's parents] are very accepting of him being gay, or him being straight, I think that is what really helps him be able to talk openly about his sexuality...

“As long as the [straight parents] were still accepting of that and shared the same type of ideas and beliefs that Stef and Lena do, I definitely think he would still be comfortable telling them that.”
