The nominees have been announced for the 2013 CMA awards. Pop-country sweetheart,Taylor Swift, and up-and-comer Kacey Musgraves tie for the lead with an impressive six nominations each. Followed close behind is The Voice coach Blake Shelton with five, and duo Florida Georgia Line with four nods.
The Country Music Awards are arguably the highest honor in county music. Not to take any thing away from the ACMs or CMTs, but this is the big time.
Shelton and Swift are no strangers to the CMAs, however this is both Musgraves and FGL's first year receiving the honor.
