Although it seems a bit early into her transition to think about dating, Caitlyn Jenner is said to be falling fast for her new reality TV girlfriend, Candis Cayne. According to the latest gossip news updates, the transgender actress has been spending a lot of time at Jenner's house since first appearing on I Am Cait, leading some family members to worry that Caitlyn may wind up getting her heart broken if she's not careful. For her part, Candis didn't mention any sort of romantic feelings for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians' cast dad, when recently speaking about her time on the new show, though she did refer to it as an "amazing experience."
While it seems unlikely that Caitlyn Jenner is ready to jump right into a serious relationship after have so recently transitioning from being a man, the supermarket tabloids seem convinced that her new friendship with Candis Cayne is just that.
One source in the latest August 17, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Candis and Cait have been spending plenty of time together off camera since first meeting on Jenner's new reality show:
"Candis reached out to Caitlyn after her transition, and they became close...they have a lot in common."
"Candis is spending more time at Caitlyn's Malibu mansion that at her home!"
During her recent interview with People magazine, however, Candis didn't mention any sort of romance with Jenner when talking about her time on the show:
"It's been an amazing experience being a part of the show and getting to know Cait and helping her along with everything she's been going through."
The reason that Candis doesn't seem near as jazzed about potential hooking up with Caitlyn as all the tabloids would have you believe, reportedly has to do with her not being physically attracted to Jenner since becoming woman.
A friend of Cayne did their best to clear things up with Us Weekly -- explaining the just because two women are both transgender doesn't automatically mean they are going to be into one another:
"It was so ridiculous. What, is Candis suddenly a lesbian now?
"Candis is currently single but is only interested in men, and Caitlyn is a woman."
