There was no winner for this week’s Powerball lottery jackpot. That means that this weekend’s, Sat August 1, jackpot has risen past the $100 million mark.
The official Powerball lottery website news info crawl currently reads:
“There were no jackpot winners for Wednesday's drawing... The next drawing will be Saturday, August 1st, 2015.”
That means that this weekend’s game has reached a whopping $110 million. The estimated cash value option of $69.5 million.
Despite all the big winners, the official Powerball lottery website is warning players to play responsibly, writing:
“Lottery games are just that -- games. Lottery games are designed to be enjoyable entertainment for adults, and for the vast majority of lottery players, that's exactly what they are. “The Multi-State Lottery Association encourages all lottery players to be responsible in their amount of play. Never spend more than you can afford on any lottery product. Please remember, it's just a game.
