Khloe Kardashian can’t seem to catch a break in 2013. In recent weeks, she has been sucked into the Lamar Odom cheating and drug scandal. Nearly every tabloid features the headline that Khloe may be pregnant and that her mother, Kris Jenner, has contacted a divorce attorney on her behalf. Poor Khloe Kardashian. It turns out that money and fame can’t get you everything, including good press. If so, Khloe probably would have traded a little of each for some peace of mind.
The real trouble started a few months back when tabloids began running countless stories claiming that Lamar Odom had been unfaithful to his wife. As more details were revealed, it appeared that the tabloids had gotten it right (for once).
The biggest of these stories, and the most damning, came from Star Magazine. They published a tell-all interview with Polina Polonsky. Polina, an established attorney, passed a lie detector test while the interview was occurring...and passed!
In it, she revealed that both Khloe and her mother, Kris Jenner, tracked her down and made threats. At one point, they tore into a hotel room that Lamar wasn’t even staying at.
New reports indicate that Kris has taken a very hands on approach to mothering in other ways as well. A source close to the Kardashian family told NY Daily News:
“Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has taken charge of the situation because she thinks Khloe is ‘too emotional’ and can’t see things clearly.
