The tabloids can’t get enough of Simon Cowell’s new baby. In the latest update, U.S. tabloids are claiming that he may be planning a wedding to Lauren Silverman, his baby mama. Simon was recently overwhelmed by attending a scan of Lauren’s pregnant belly.
Is romance in the air? If you believe OK! Magazine, then the answer is yes. The gossip magazine is claiming that the reality judge may be contemplating a marriage to Lauren Silverman.
What changed the 53-year-old’s mind? Turns out it may have been his mom that made the difference. According to a source that spoke with the tabloid:
“The one person in the world Simon is scared of is his mother, and he was dreading her reaction to everything that happened. She was as shocked as anyone by the pregnancy news, but she likes Lauren and was appalled by all the stories that Simon was going to run to the hills rather than make a go of things with her.”
The source didn’t stop there either. The insider further claimed that his mom:
“...told him that he really should man up and marry Lauren and in no uncertain terms that he needed to start behaving like a responsible adult. She’s tired of him acting like a playboy, flitting from girl to girl. She more or less ordered Simon to marry Lauren…”
Of course, these allegations come after it was revealed that Cowell became particularly moved from seeing a body scan of his new baby. The international Mogul told The Times:
"I went to see a scan today and it is just surreal. You see this thing which is now alive moving around. So I am happy."
