Paris Jackson Suicide Update: Michael’s Mom Katherine Says "Doing Better," Still No Fat Marilyn Manson Concert

Paris Jackson, who attempted suicide earlier this year, appears to be doing better. Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, sounded promising in an interview this week. While Paris’ mental health appears to be improving, the young woman has yet to see fat Marilyn Manson in concert.

It has been a very rough year for Paris Jackson. In addition to the AEG trial surrounding her father’s death, Paris attempted suicide earlier this summer.

She reportedly tried to kill herself over not being allowed to attend a Marilyn Manson concert. Though she wasn’t able to attend, once Manson heard of her attempt, he offered her a free ticket to any of his shows and dedicated “Disposable Teens” to her.

Paris was transported to the hospital after cutting her wrists and swallowing a number of over-the-counter pills.

Since her attempted suicide, Paris has undergone therapy and psychological evaluations. which have seemed to help the troubled teen. Her grandmother, Katherine, gave an interview to Hello! Magazine, where she revealed:

"The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said 'I want to go and see Daddy, I don't want to be without him'."

In the latest edition of Star Magazine, an insider revealed that Paris is happy being separated from the Jacksons. The source claimed that:

“Paris wants to be far away from the Jacksons; she wants to be emancipated from them. Thanks to her therapy, she’s starting to realize how toxic and treacherous that family is.”
