Sabrina Carpenter recently spoke to International Business Times about if she want Shawn Hunter as a step-father:

“Who wouldn’t? Anyone who watched Boy Meets World would want Shawn as their step dad...He was such a lovable character -- with great hair. And still has great hair. Rider as a person is so fantastic that I think having him play a father would be an honor. Of course he’s not my father on the show, but we’ll see what happens.”
