While Wendy Williams has nothing but nice things to say about Caitlyn Jenner these days, she is not so impressed with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians matriarch, Kris, or her choice in boyfriends. The day time talk show host recently had no problem calling out Corey Gamble as coming off like a gold digger. Meanwhile, BET wig wearing gossip queen also has taken note of the news that Emma Roberts is being reunited with her former fiancé, Evan Peters, in the new season of American Horror Story. According to radio DJ turned TV star, Emma is so violent that she should probably consider some professional help before heading back to the FX set post-split.
Despite the fact that she seems happy whenever in public with her new beau, Wendy Williams is less than impressed with Kris Jenner's choice in rebound romance.
In her latest July 29, contribution to Life & Style magazine, Wendy took Kim Kardashian's momager to task for not seeing her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, for the snake in the grass that she believes him to be:
"Corey Gamble licking Kris Jenner's neck [on the red carpet in Cannes] definitely wasn't pretty.
"I hate this relationship...Corey clearly seems to have an agenda. I feel like he's an opportunist taking full advantage of the spotlight surrounding Kris.
"Plus, Kris is probably still heartbroken over Bruce and the family divide."
Interestingly, enough, Wendy seems just as concerned that Emma Roberts might be making a mistake returning to work with her ex-boyfriend, Evan Peters, on American Horror Story without first seeking some professional help with her rage issues:
"Formerly engaged couple Emma Roberts and Evan Peters will reunite to film an upcoming season of American Horror Story.
"Emma reportedly has a past of being physically violent, so if I were her, I'd hire an anger management coach before filming.
"And Evan...hide!"
Although Wendy is mostly known for throwing all kinds of crazy shade on her fellow celebrities as the culture surrounding her seems to grow evermore politically correct, Williams continues to grow in popularity year-after-year.
Upon extending her summer season for the third consecutive year in a row, Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, co-presidents Debmar-Mercury, explained to Variety that Wendy often stands out as a daytime juggernaut in a field rank amateurs:
"Thanks to Wendy...we now have one of only a handful of talk shows that have not only survived, but thrived in daytime.
"Very rarely in our long careers have we seen a show perform like this -- one that trends up sweep after sweep, routinely posts year-over-year growth and sees gains in almost every market, including on traditional affiliates and following newscasts, as ratings for most other shows sink."
It's good to know that in a world of milquetoast commentators at least one daytime talk show host is still willing to give the teaming masses exactly what they want.
