Kim Kardashian, who is allegedly pregnant (if you believe the latest tabloids), is still fighting with journalist Katie Couric. According to reports, and Kim’s Instagram, the feud was caused over a message attached to a baby gift Couric sent her child, North West. In the latest update, a tabloid has printed a series of negative quotes that Katie said about Kim.
Kim Kardashian may play a fool on TV, but she’s no dummy when it comes to keeping track of the negative comments members in the media make about her and her family.
This was never more evident than when Kim posted a photo of a gift Couric sent her, following the birth of her daughter North West. Attached to the photo of Katie’s message, was Kim’s comment, “I hate fake media friends. May I humbly suggest you not send gifts then talk sh-t.”
The message was in reference to Katie’s note, which appeared to be cut off. In it, Couric encourages Kim to “continue the K tradition for naming” her child.
Some media outlets were reporting Kim was angered that Katie would second guess her choice of name, however, it appears that she was actually upset by a string of negative comments Katie made about the Kardashian clan.
According to gossip magazine Star, Kim has been keeping track of all the trash Katie’s been talking. In a recent interview, the news broadcaster said of the Kardashian clan:
“I don’t understand--Why are they so famous? I think it’s mostly teenage girls that are interested.”
Kim didn’t take kind to those words and isn’t letting Katie forget it. Kim’s holding a grudge despite Couric’s public apology, where she claimed, “I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings...The gift was genuine.”
