Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi to Divorce after Wedding Rumors? [NEWS]

Depending on who you ask, Ellen DeGeneres' marriage to Portia de Rossi is either on the precipitance of divorce or the strongest it has been in years. According to the latest gossip news updates, their relationship was on an upswing coming off a recent vacation to South Africa when the daytime talk show host got in another argument with her Australian wife about her recurring role on Scandal, resulting in a new riff. On the other hand, it is also been said that Ellen and Portia are currently planning a second wedding to renew their vows in celebration of the recent Supreme Court decision to uphold marriage equality for all.

For the past year or so the supermarket tabloids have vacillated between stories reporting the Ellen DeGeneres marriage to Portia de Rossi is either very-near divorce or the envy of monogamy-minded people everywhere.

This week it seem the source in the July 13, issue of InTouch Weekly is pretty sure that Ellen and Portia's relationship just hasn't been the same since they got back from South Africa last month:

"Right after they got back they had a huge fight over Portia's career. They wound up having a screaming match and didn't speak for days.

"Portia told Ellen that once she start filming Scandal that she'll be married to her job.

"It doesn't look like they will ever be able to get back on track...Ellen and Portia will soon be living separate lives."

Despite all that nonsense, Radar Online is practically reporting the polar opposite story -- claiming that Portia and Ellen are so elated by the recent Supreme Court's decision on marriage equality, that they are going to have a second gay wedding to celebrate.

According to the website's secret source, DeGeneres is so excited by this LBGTQ community's win that she is looking to bring further attention to gay right by ruffling a few ultra-conservative feathers in her home state of Louisiana:

"She knows that getting re-married in Louisiana, which has always been a very anti-gay state, would be rubbing it in to some people. But she does not care.

"Ellen really wants to continue to fight for equality.

"Even though gay marriage is now legal, there are a ton of issues that still need to be tackled. Her aiding in the fight for equality isn't nearly over."

So, it's probably safest to assume that whatever the status of Ellen and Portia's marriage, it most likely falls somewhere in between renewing their vows and filing divorce papers.
