'KUWTK' Caitlyn Jenner Update: Kim Sees Bruce in a Dress 12 Years Ago, Celebrates 4th

Time for another update in the life of Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner. Kim recently made headlines during a Rolling Stone interview, where she revealed that she saw Bruce Jenner wearing a dress over a decade ago. Meanwhile, Caitlyn recently made a few waves, herself, with a patriotic Fourth of July tweet.

Though the tabloids speculated that Bruce Jenner was transitioning into a woman long before his ABC special, Kim Kardashian found out the truth long before any of us.

She let the world know just how long ago that was in her tell-all interview with popular music publication Rolling Stone.

According to Kim, she discovered that Bruce wanted to be a woman over 12 years before Bruce publicly transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner. It turns out that Kim was just 22 when she caught Bruce Jenner dressed in women's clothing:

"I was shaking...I didn't know if I'd just found out his deepest, darkest secret, and he was going to come after me...[Later,] I wasn't sure if Bruce was going to be comfortable walking me down the aisle...He had just had his trachea shaved, so I knew something was going on...[Kanye] obviously moves to his own drum...He lives his life the way he wants, a really authentic life, and he was like, 'If you can't be authentic and you can't live your life, what do you have?' "

Of course, this isn't the only reason that Caitlyn Jenner finds herself in the news this week.

The reality star, who is now more well-known for her activism within the Trans community than her appearance on the hugely successful reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, also generated some headlines for her recent tweet.

According to Time, Caitlyn alluded to her struggles (and newfound freedom) during her patriotic Fourth of July tweet:

"Caitlyn Jenner took to her Twitter account Saturday to wish her followers and fans a happy Independence Day...And the former athlete, whose coming out as a woman sparked a social media phenomenon and gave fresh visibility to transgender Americans, paid tribute to the United States as a beacon of freedom and tolerance...'Proud to be an American,' she wrote, in a twist on Lee Greenwood's famous patriotic song, 'where at least I am free to be me.'"
