There was no winner for this week’s Mega Millions lottery jackpot. That means that the July 4th weekend’s game total has risen even closer to $100 million. Check out the report below before you buy your tickets.
The all new total for tonight’s Mega Millions lottery jackpot has reached a whopping $84 million. The estimated cash value option for this weekend’s game has reached a cool $50 million.
The official Mega Millions lottery website is reporting on one of the smaller scale prize winners, if you can call $4 million small:
“A Match 5 winning ticket for the June 30 Mega Millions drawing was sold in Horizon City, Texas, near El Paso. Because the lucky ticket-holder added the optional Megaplier for an extra $1, instead of being worth $1 million, the ticket’s value is $4 million after the 4x Megaplier was drawn. The ticket matched the five white balls in Tuesday’s drawing – 11, 17, 34, 43 and 50 – just missing the gold Mega Ball of 15 for the jackpot.
“In just the first six months of 2015, there have been eight multi-million Match 5 winners thanks to the Megaplier purchase, almost as many as all of 2014. An amazing six of those have won $5 million as the 5x Megaplier has been hot – two in Florida and one each in Arizona, Michigan, Oklahoma and Virginia.
“Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot continues to roll, with an estimated $84 million prize ($50 million cash option) up for grabs in the July 3 drawing.”
