According to rumors, Prince Harry of Wales is set to propose to his girlfriend, Cressida Bonas. The claims state the couple may be in the process of planning their very own royal wedding. We’ve got the latest updates on the couple!
Prince Harry, war hero and occasional playboy, may be planning to make a royal announcement concerning his girlfriend of one year. The Daily Star Sunday is reporting that Harry will ask Cressida to marry him.
For many, these claims seem not to match up with comments Prince Harry has made in the past. Following the birth of his nephew, Prince George, Harry said he was relieved that the royal birth took some of the pressure off of him to settle down. While the statement was met with laughter, many felt there was some truth to his statements.
Now, however, it appears that the 28-year-old prince has changed his mind. According to a source who spoke to the Star:
“The way it's looking now people close to Harry and Cressida predict an engagement by the end of the year and a spring wedding. Cressida is The One. People have heard Harry talking about how special Cress is and about getting engaged.”
The source went on to describe a conversation Harry had in Switzerland, earlier this year:
"I'm told they talked of marriage in Switzerland this year. Fergie was urging him to propose, but H wouldn't go that far. That said, he's seen how happy marriage has made his brother and I think he wants some of that. I'm also informed that Cressida's mother has told Eugenie she'd love to see them settle down together, but Cressida won't be rushed any more than he will."
