Tonight, is the beginning of the end for fans of TNT’s Falling Skies. The series, starring E.R. vet Noah Wyle, kicks off its fifth and final season tonight. Recently, Noah Wyle opened up about this season’s dark tone, after surviving cancellation for one more year. Check the report below for a look at tonight’s all new episode.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s Season 5 premiere episode of Falling Skies titled “Find Your Warrior,” reads:
“Tom's life is in peril as his beamer drifts into space following a successful yet tragic mission to destroy the Espheni power core. Also: Anne reluctantly takes on a leadership role; and a new plan for winning the war is shared. The Season 5 opener.”
Recently sereis star Noah Wyle opened up to reporters about what fans can expecting going into Season 5, telling Yahoo TV:
“I think if you’ve been along for the ride for four seasons, you want to see what’s going to happen between Tom and Pope. You want to see who’s going to win out in the love triangle between Hal, Ben, and Maggie. Are we finally going to find out why the aliens came in the first place? [I’m] proud that we didn’t get canceled before we got to satisfy our audience, tell them the entire story.”
