David Cassidy 2013 DUI Update: Partridge Charged With Felony, .10 Breathalyzer Test Results

David Cassidy, of 'The Partridge Family' fame, was charged with a felony DUI, again in 2013. The ex-star blew an impressive .10 on his breathalyzer test.

David Cassidy is back in the spotlight again...or should we say blue lights. The partridge was pulled over early Wednesday morning and charged with driving under the influence. The arresting officer was......now this is a little "unusual"...Tom Jones.

David Cassidy, best known for his role as Keith Partridge on the hit 70s musical comedy The Partridge Family, was arrested early Wednesday morning outside of Albany, New York.

Cassidy was stopped by officer Tom Jones, not to be confused with the "What's New Pussy Cat " singer with the same name.

The former heartthrob caught the cops attention by not so brightly using his high beams when he wasn't supposed to. Jones smelled alcohol on Cassidy' s breath and issued a field sobriety test.

The singer/actor failed the test, reportedly blowing a .10, according to Albany Times Union.

The ATU is also reporting that Cassidy obnoxiously greeted officer Jones by making fun of his name, saying "What's up, pussycat?" according to D.A. Richard McNally.

Cassidy was charged with felony DUI and released on bail. The felony charge stems from a previous 2010 DUI arrest in Florida.

The 63-year-old former teen idol has struggled with addiction for years, following injuries from his hit Las Vegas stage show EFX, leaving Cassidy dependent on painkillers.

Cassidy, who was sentenced to probation after his last arrest, is scheduled to return to court on September 4.
