B2K Raz B Medical Crisis Update: Representative and Record Label at Odds Over Coma and Hospitalization

An unexpected medical crisis update has been issued for B2K’s Raz B. It appears that Raz’ representative and his own record label at odds over whether or not he was ever in a coma and faced prolonged hospitalization.

According to Hollywood Life, Raz representative stated that:

“Raz was at the nightclub, and there was someone smashing bottles on the floor. There was no security. He approached the individual, and he was hit with a bottle. He’s fine. He went to jail, that is true, and then he went to the hospital to get stitches. He didn’t want to press charges, and his hospital bills were taken care of [by the aggressor.] I don’t know if he stayed overnight. I spoke to him today; he is fine.”

This is direct contrast to the statement his record label provided the gossip site, as they claim:

"Kameleon Music Group has received the news that our artists Raz B is doing well and that he will be able to fly over to the Netherlands very soon, to start working on the album that he was signed for.

When the news about Raz B being in a coma, started to spread the net, KMG immediatly contacted China to check if the rumors were true. We were informed that they were. Sunday morning, we decided to come out with a statement to show our support as a label to our artist.

The news about all of this being a Hoax is as suprising to us as it is for the rest of the world. The most important matter is that Raz B is doing well and that this nightmare is over.

Our mission is to create an amazing album with a talented artist and that’s what we will be focussing on."

As Classicalite previously reported:

Raz B found himself in a mess of trouble when he tried to break up a fight that erupted in a bar that Raz was performing at, in China. The singer tried breaking up the fight and wound up getting hit in the face with a glass bottle, hard.

When police arrived at the scene, they took both Raz and the guy who clocked him into the station for questioning. After getting all the details, police freed Raz and transported him to a local hospital.

B had to undergo minor surgery and was stitched up at the hospital and released. Everything seemed to be going great until Friday morning.

He was found unconscious the next morning by his back-up dancer, who rushed the 28-year-old singer to the hospital.

Raz was determined to be in a coma and was immediately put on life support. On Sunday, 48 hours after going on life support, he emerged from the coma.
