It looks like stepping toe-to-toe with Real Housewives of Atlanta fan favorite, NeNe Leakes, time and time again in Season 7 wasn't the best reality TV career move for Claudia Jordan after all. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Dish Nation DJ has been fired after just one year with the show, but Kenya Moore's bestie may still reappear here and there as a guest in Season 8. In a related story some critics are claiming that Cynthia Bailey's recent would-be split with Peter Thomas is nothing more than a desperate career move to keep from getting the axe like NeNe's other frenemies. Interestingly enough, just a little while ago the couple admitted that they had no plans to retire from the Bravo limelight until they had exhausted any and every opportunity to make money from her exposure on the franchise.
Although it seemed that Claudia Jordan was thoe one being bullied by NeNe Leakes throughout her Season 7 run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta the producers have reportedly decided that it's the reality TV rookie that has to go.
Just yesterday, Us Weekly broke the news that it was Claudia that had been sacked, despite NeNe being the one that would went so far as to bring up Jordan's ethnicity and private life on the program:
"You've been f*cked by everybody in Hollywood. They done wore that out.
"What you got, this half-breed sh*t? That's not in Atlanta.
"They ain't looking for you. You're a whore, you done slept with everybody."
Since, Bravo appears to be pretty serious about trimming some of the fat going into Season 8, fans are now starting to wonder aloud about Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas most recent cheating scandal.
While OK! Magazine has been quick to point out that their entire story doesn't really seem to all line up, most telling of all, perhaps, was Cynthia and Peter admission, in an interview with Now What?!, that everything they do on the show revolves around their realization that their time one the show will not last forever and they need to make as much money as they can before their reality TV retirement is foist upon them (via EurWeb):
"Just as it started, it will end, and we will be replaced by someone that America thinks is much more interesting to watch.
"My only regret would be to walk away from this and not be set for life and not have taken advantage of every single opportunity that I could."
Whatever the truth may be behind Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey martial issues last week, as of right now they still seem to have their jobs at Bravo, while Claudia Jordan does not -- so that little "scandal" definitely didn't hurt.
