Rumors are once again flying that one of the most desirable bachelors on the planet may soon be off the market. According to a new tabloid report, Prince Harry is engaged to ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, despite their very public breakup. Back in reality, however, Prince Harry has officially retired from the military.
Fans of the royal family will remember that Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas officially began dating back in 2012.
The two stayed together for over two years, finally splitting in April of 2014. Although Harry has been linked to a number of women following his breakup with Cressida Bonas, none of the relationships appeared as serious (or lasted as long).
But now a laughable new report from OK! Magazine claims that the two are ready to rekindle their relationship. In fact, Hollywood Life tells readers that Prince Harry plans on getting engaged to Cressida:
"Is another royal wedding on the way? Prince Harry has allegedly reunited with his ex, Cressida Bonas, and according to a new report, they're secretly engaged. Find out all the details here...Prince Harry, 30, recently said he's ready to settle down and start a family, and according to a new report, his wish may come true in the near future. The royal has allegedly reunited with his ex, Cressida Bonas, 26, and now they're secretly engaged, a surprising new report claims."
As usual, the tabloid did little to support their outrageous claims, other than quote an (obviously) unnamed source.
Back in reality, however, Harry happens to be making headlines for something other than his rumored relationships.
The 30-year-old prince has been serving in the military for the past decade, but now Harry has announced that he is officially retiring from service.
BBC tells readers that Prince Harry was proud to serve for his country, and that he will always support the military:
"Prince Harry's decade-long career with the Army has ended, Kensington Palace has said...The fifth-in-line to the throne will spend the next three months carrying out voluntary work with conservation experts in Africa...He will travel to Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Botswana...Harry said he had an 'epic 10 years' and that Army life kept him 'out of trouble' when speaking about his decision to leave last month."
What do you think of the latest report? Is there any truth to reports that he could be engaged to Cressida Bonas? Do you think the two have even resumed dating? Are you shocked Harry finally retired?
