It's time for another update in the life of Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, who is pregnant with her second child. Her latest baby bump photo left fans surprised over her shocking wardrobe choices. Meanwhile, the reality star finds herself involved in a bit of a scandal for appearing on NPR, a highly well-respected news organization.
It turns out that not everyone wants to keep up with the Kardashians.
This was made abundantly clear by listeners of NPR over the weekend. Mrs. Kardashian West appeared on the hit quiz show, Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me.
Almost immediately after the ten-minute interview aired, NPR's ombudsman Elizabeth Jensen found herself embroiled in a wave of controversy.
According to the Washington Post, fans began attacking the radio network across social media:
"By Wednesday, Jensen said that the interview -- a 10-minute exchange about herself and another famous Kim, North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un -- had elicited 'hundreds' of angry responses. People were 'disgusted' and 'disappointed' by the choice of guest. Someone said they felt 'contaminated through the speakers.' One accused the 'NPR ship' of being 'rudderless' and another urged, 'NPR, you are supposed to be above this.'"
Of course, this isn't the only reason that Kim Kardashian finds herself in the news.
As one might expect, when a person is as big of a fashionista as Kim Kardashian, her maternity style is going to be examined.
Just like her first pregnancy with North West, you're likely not going to catch Kim Kardashian in your typical maternity wear.
When you're a Kardashian, there is an expectation for style to trump comfort, always.
One source tells popular gossip site Hollywood Life that Kim is going to dress however she wants:
"Kim is going to be dressing sexy for as long as she can do it...She wants to wear heels and stay as hot as she can for as long as she can. Even if she'd rather just hang around in sweats, she forces herself to get dressed up because it gives her more confidence. Kim has never felt good in baggy clothes and besides she doesn't think women should have to hide their bodies when they're pregnant."
Haters are going to hate, but Kim is going to keep on Kardashian-ing all the way to the bank.
What do you think of the latest reports? Was NPR wrong for giving Kim a platform? What do you think of Kim's pregnancy style?
