Jennifer Aniston, who is allegedly pregnant, and Justin Theroux are being sued by a flooring construction company. While she may not have a new baby inside of her, she will likely find herself in a courtroom, due to allegations that she failed to pay a 2013 bill for services rendered.
J.R. Darnall Associates, Inc is suing not only Aniston...but a number of other contractors for breach of contract, breach of oral contract and for other causes of action in their lawsuit filed August 13 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The bill is for a staggering $50,000 and would have covered the costs of a new deck, as E! News reports:
“In the lawsuit, J.R. Darnall Associates, Inc. claims it supplied labor as well as materials for cabinetry and the finishing of a concrete floor in the lower level of Aniston's home. According to the suit, the contractors redid the deck several times, and were paid for each, except for the fourth change, which involved creating a 2,000-square-foot deck.
The contractors say they were told the deck must be poured by March 22 because Aniston wanted it for a party on March 24. Subsequently, they were told there was a water leak on the deck and that it had been demolished.”
Aniston’s camp was quick to respond to the press, telling them that "We are not aware of any lawsuit. We have only heard of this through the media."
Aniston has been busy denying allegations left and right...mostly about being pregnant, as a number of tabloids are claiming the celebrity to be expecting. A few have gone as far to claim that the 44-year-old is seeking IVF treatments, as In Touch did, quoting a source that alleged:
“She knows the clock is ticking--she’s well aware of it. She’s also done her homework. She’s explored all methods for having a baby and knows what her options are with IVF. She’s educated herself. There is no desperation. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.”
