Shocking absolutely no one, Miley Cyrus recently revealed that not only is she bisexual, but she actually came out to her mother when she was just 14. Now a new report suggests that her ex-fiance, Liam Hemsworth, was well aware of that fact when they were dating. But, it wasn't the fact that Miley is bi that led to their breakup.
Miley Cyrus isn't one to shy away from her sexuality.
The recording artist made that abundantly clear with multiple music videos from her Bangerz album. Cyrus' song "Wrecking Ball," for example, featured Miley riding a wrecking ball completely naked.
So, when Miley recently revealed in an interview that she told her mother she was bisexual at 14 years of age, many readers weren't surprised.
Now a new report suggest that Miley hasn't just been open about her sexuality to her parents, but also to past lovers.
According to Hollywood Life, both Liam Hemsworth and Patrick Schrawzenegger were aware of Miley's sexuality and were completely accepting:
"While Patrick highly encouraged Miley's love for the ladies, laid back Liam also had major chill about the situation. In fact, her bisexuality had absolutely nothing to do with their 2013 split. 'It didn't contribute to the breakup,' the source continues. 'Immaturity, family planning and career goals were the main factors.'"
After Miley's announcement, she received an outpouring of praise from the LGBT community, who have long supported the singer. Pink News, however, doesn't think the press should refer to Miley being bisexual, as Cyrus has never used the term to refer to herself:
"The star gave another interview to Paper Magazine this week, in which she said she is 'open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age' -- leading the mainstream press to label the star 'bisexual'."
What do you think of the latest reports? Is it incorrect to refer to Miley as bi?
