It looks like Paper Towns beauty, Cara Delevingne, is ready to make some major changes in her life now that she's successfully used her career as a Victoria's Secret/Burberry model to transition into acting. According to the latest gossip news updates, it looks very much like Michelle Rodriguez ex-girlfriend has also asked St Vincent, aka Annie Clark, to marry her via Instagram. While it is not known whether or not to often topless 22-year-old was serious about the engagement, Cara has no problem publicly confirming her plans to leave modeling for good now that she's moved on to working on real Hollywood blockbusters -- like The Suicide Squad.
Although Cara Delevingne certainly couldn't be accused of trying to keep her many romances a secret, the svelte British bombshell says surprisingly little about whomever she happens to be dating in the press.
Despite the inconvenience, the supermarket tabloids and internet gossip mongers alike are currently reporting that her girlfriend broke the news of their engagement on Instagram earlier this week:
"Ok..."
While it seems impossibly hard to tell if their Instagram engagement was more than just a joke for the fans on social media, Cara intentions to leave modeling behind forever, now that she is in a Hollywood blockbuster couldn't have been more clear in her Life & Style interview form the latest June 22, issue:
"I've always wanted to be an actress, more than anything in the world.
"There are a lot of girls who say, 'I just want to be a model so badly,' and I think: You are better than that.
"I just think you can do a lot more."
World renowned Neptune's producer, Pharrell Williams explained to WSJ that he always has seen Cara, who he worked with on the "Reincarnation" music video, as someone who was destined to make a name for herself in an least a couple fields:
"I look at Cara as a pluralist -- she is ambitious about many things.
"She's a natural -- she jumps into whatever character she is supposed to be."
Now that she's made the transition into a full-fledged actress -- not only staring in as the female lead in Paper Towns but also sharing the screen with Hollywood veterans like Will Smith and Tom Hardy in the new Suicide Squad movie -- Cara tells the Wall Street Journal that she has no intention of keeping her old gig as just another pretty face on the catwalk:
"I don't want to be that cliché: model-slash-actress."
It may still be impossible to say exactly what is or isn't going on between Cara and Annie Clark, but it seems pretty safe to say that Delevingne is going the next big thing in Hollywood, whether they are ready for it or not.
