It is starting to make perfect sense why all Jim Bob and Michelle's rules to stop their son from repeatedly molesting their daughter failed time and time again -- per usual the 19 Kids and Counting reality TV stars were more concerned that their children might turn out gay to really to focus on his being an admitted pederast too seriously. According to the latest gossip news updates, Josh Duggar's parents made house rules regarding the boys sitting in each other laps, instead of reporting the son's predatory behavior to someone that might actually be able to help put an end to the repeated child molestations going on in the home.
One of the most disgusting elements to the 19 Kids and Counting serial molestation cover-up has to be the holier-than-thou attitude the Duggars have displayed from the very first moment they found out about their son's deplorable behavior all those years ago.
During their Fox confessional meant to somehow salvage their good name, Michelle Duggar goes as far as to defends their choice to handle the matter themselves -- explaining that she and Jim Bob put a few new house rules in place to nip things in the bud before they got out of hand.
According to the coverage in the June 22, issue of InTouch Weekly, Michelle recounted without irony how they came up with a plan to keep the boys from playing grab-ass with the neighbors' sons shortly after they heard about what Josh had been doing to his own little sisters:
"We said you are not [to be] alone in a room with someone else, boys don't sit on big boys' laps unless family.
"There are boundaries that we learned."
Sadly, it seemed that Josh Duggar apparently took a little more time acclimating to the concept of boundaries than his sister's might have liked, which is why the uber-religious father of three has been banned from the world-famous Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
Proud owner and operator of the brothel once prominently featured in HBO's hit series Cathouse, Dennis Hof explained that he's crunched the numbers ahead of time, and unlike the Duggars, he isn't willing to wait until half a dozen or so of his girls gets hurt before he takes action (via The Wrap):
"We employ 500 girls at any one time, and we've had tens of thousands of them come and go over the years.
"With the Duggars having 19-kids, it is just simple math that the odds are much greater than usual that one of their daughters might come work for us at some point.
"There's no way I would ever put them or any other girl in harm's way, should that brother of theirs come prowling around here."
If only Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar had half the sense god gave Dennis Hoff, the vast majority of this tragic turn of events would never had to happen.
