Although it certainly seems to make a lot of sense to fans of the TV show, Nicky Hilton insists that her mom, Kathy, isn't going to be joining the Season 6 cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, despite the rumors to the contrary. According to the latest gossip news updates, Kim and Kyle Richards' sister won't be working for Bravo in 2015 -- or other year for that matter. In a related story, Season 5's most violent oenophiles, Brandi Glanville and Lisa Rinna, seem to be keeping their feud very much alive over the hiatus, with Donald Trump's drunk Celebrity Apprentice calling out the former Melrose Place actress for being crazier than the rest of the cast combined.
It was just being reported by supermarket tabloids and internet gossip mongers alike, that Kathy Hilton would soon be replacing her less famous sisters, Kim and Kyle Richards, on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 6, but her daughter now claims that story is total nonsense.
During a recent interview with E! News, Nicky Hilton explained that while her sister, Paris, may not have been above starring in her own sex tape, their mother would never stoop so low as to take a role on the Bravo reality series:
"Absolutely not. I've heard that rumor, it pops up once or twice every year since Kim and Kyle started the show and no...untrue."
It's hard to blame anyone for not wanting to be a part of the Housewives franchise considering the near-constant criticism the cast must endure, not only from the media -- both social and corporate -- but from your fellow costars as well.
While stopping by Straight Talk with Ross Mathews, Brandi Glanville had no problem calling out rookie Housewife Lisa Rinna as being the nuttiest lady in the bunch, despite not even knowing whether or not she or Rinna will even work for Bravo next year (via RealityTea):
"I do [thinks Lisa Rinna's crazy]. I like her, but she's crazier than all of us put together.
"And it will soon show...you can't hide it for that long. She's crazy."
Lisa's husband, Harry Hamlin, recently explained that he does his level best to avoid the drama on the show at all costs -- never staying in one place long enough when Bravo is filming at his house to ever even come into focus for the Bravo viewers (via Inquisiter):
"I'm never there when the cameras are there.
"I have a rule about the show.
"I don't sit down -- if I'm there I just walk through the background."
It seems that Kathy Hilton must have a similar rule regarding the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
