After receiving what seems like years of bad news, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice now has some good news to report. According to a recent article, Teresa Giudice will be released from prison earlier than expected. In this latest update, we'll also take a look at the mysterious tweet sent out from Teresa's Twitter account. Spoiler Alert: Teresa's daughter Gia may have a little something to do with it.
Just when it looked like things couldn't get worse for Teresa Giudice, the legally embattled housewife's luck seems to have turned around.
Despite being sentenced to 15 months behind bars for involvement in a years-long fraud scheme, Teresa may find herself released from prison earlier than thought.
According to NorthJersey.com, Teresa may be home for Christmas:
"Looks like Teresa Giudice may get an early Christmas present...The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, according to E! Entertainment News, will be released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in early December, and will immediately begin home confinement to serve out the remainder of her sentence...The Federal Bureau of Prisons lists her release date as Feb. 5...Giudice, one of Bravo TV's reality stars, began serving a 15-month sentence in January..."
Of course, this isn't the only reason that Teresa Giudice finds herself in the news.
The internet nearly broke earlier in the week, when a mysterious tweet surfaced from Teresa Giudice's personal Twitter account. Many were outraged that Teresa is allowed to use social media while behind bars, however, that was not the case.
Although the message did come from Giudice, her attorney tells E! News that Teresa did not personally send the tweet, which thanked her fans for their outpouring of support. It turns out that it was her 13-year-old daughter Gia who updated Teresa's status:
"The message came from her. She asked her daughter Gia to please post it...She wanted to thank her fans for the hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of mail that she's received since she's been incarcerated. In particular, she received an outpouring of kind words and support on her birthday. She's truly grateful."
What do you think about the latest report? Were you surprised to learn that Teresa will be released early? Do you think she's getting special treatment since she is a celebrity? Were you one of the many fooled into thinking that Teresa was allowed access to Twitter behind bars?
