Teresa and Joe Giudice, stars of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ will likely be arrested. In the latest update, it appears that fraud charges may destroy their family.
Teresa and Joe are used to making national headlines, however, this is the first time they’ve done so for illegal matters. The couple is facing over 50 years of jail time and fines that could reach a million dollars.
Of course, their biggest concern is what will happen to their children if they go behind bars. A source close to the couple revealed the havoc this situation is causing to OK! Magazine:
“Teresa is sick over this. She can’t sleep, can’t eat. She is just so mortified. She is trying to shield the girls from this drama as much as possible. She is terrified she won’t get to see her kids grow up.”
The couple, who has been married for over 14 years, is facing some pretty serious charges. In total, they are facing 39 different charges, which range from falsifying loan applications to not paying and lying on their income tax. Notably, Teresa didn’t even claim her earnings from Real Housewives, which was pretty idiotic.
This isn’t Joe’s first time in trouble with the law, either. In fact, he has an October court date for a totally separate issue. Turns out that he used his brother’s ID to get a New Jersey driver’s license. If convicted, he could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
