Jennifer Aniston was supposed to be hosting a weekend wedding to Justin Theroux, if you believe the tabloids. Turns out, it was really just a birthday party for the actor and not their long awaited 2013 marriage.
The celebration may not have been what everyone was expecting, since no vows were exchanged, however, it was still one heck of a bash as People reports:
“Ellen DeGeneres, Ben Stiller, Jimmy Kimmel, Tobey Maguire, Laura Dern, John Krasinski, Don Cheadle, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell,Isla Fisher, Samantha Ronson, Will Arnett, Malin Ackerman and Dax Shepard were among the celebs who headed to Jennifer Aniston's Bel Air
Many were eagerly expecting the pair to wed, considering that’s what nearly every tabloid has been printing. In the most recent issue of OK! Magazine, a source claims that:
“Jen is in a great place right now. She’s finally moved past the last 12 months of incredible highs, followed by devastating lows. She’s telling her friends that she’s never been happier with her life and her fiance. She’s so chilled out these days--she’s never stressed anymore. She and Justin are having the best time together. She is so very happy that she is finally ready to wed.”
Rumors of the weekend wedding began circulating when it was revealed that Aniston was planning a celebration for Justin Theroux’s birthday, which was on August 10. Not only was it her man’s 42nd B-Day, but it’s also the anniversary of when Theroux proposed to her.
Today, however, sources are confirming that it was just a birthday party and not the wedding the entire world has been waiting for. And, that’s just fine with Jen who last week told the press:
"We just want to do it when it's perfect, and we're not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And, you know, we already feel married."
