WWE Superstar Ric Flair Returning to Ring: Wrestling, Managing Career to Follow?

Woooo! Legendary WWE superstar Ric Flair has recently began saying that he would like to once again be near the professional wrestling ring, as either an active wrestler or in a managerial position. Flair has been retired from the ring for over seven years and is already in the WWE Hall of Fame, twice over. The Nature Boy has still been occasionally involved with the company, but in small capacities and in non-performing segments.

Flair has an enthusiasm that is contagious towards the sport he loves. Wrestling Inc has Flair's thoughts on how his passion could be used ringside as a manager:

"I would love that I have been waiting on that for two years, but I don't anticipate that happening now, I understand that they have so many young guys, people they want to get established. I have no problem with it, but I don't think it will happen."

If the WWE doesn't find a way to have Flair become a manager, he still wants a way back to the action. Wrestling News Source tells of Flair's rambling from a recent podcast about his desire to not just be ringside, but to be a performer once again in the WWE:

"Physically I'm more than capable but it's a cosmetic issue now so I'd need time to prepare. I've always wanted to manage Dolph Ziggler but ya know if they were to ask me to get back in the ring tomorrow my answer would be yes and I could work with anybody. I've actually worked with Ziggler before when he was in the group (Spirit Squad) I love all those kids. I could work with any of the kids but I don't think that's going to happen, I just meant I'm physically cleared to go out there and bounce around or drop an elbow on a sports coat. I'd love to be a part of it again."

Do you think the WWE needs to find a way to have Ric Flair more involved? Could Ric Flair perform a good wrestling match in the ring still? We want to hear from you. Tell us your thoughts below.
