Kourtney Kardashian, who was believed to be pregnant with a baby, may not be expecting. The socialite is likely not expecting a new child in 2013, as she was caught eating sushi. For now, rumors that she will be a new mom is unlikely.
Kourtney and baby daddy, Scott Disick, were spotted chowing down on some sushi on Tuesday. The pair dined at Banzai restaurant alongside momager Kris, as well as, Khloe Kardashian.
Expectant mothers are not allowed to eat sushi as it poses risks for the unborn child. While photos have been published that show the starlet eating a type of rice roll, it was not revealed if the snack included raw fish.
Kourtney was also not drinking alcoholic beverages, so the chance that she may be pregnant still exists.
Earlier in the week, gossip tabloid OK! Magazine reported that Kourtney and Scott are expecting their third child later in the year. The couple already have two children together.
The tabloid is claiming that a source close to the couple spilled the beans, telling the publication:
“Kourtney has confessed she is expecting. She’s very excited and is only telling a select few right now, but she just couldn’t keep it quiet any longer. All the signs are there. Kourtney has that kind of glow she had with Mason and Penelope...they wanted to have one right after Penelope.”
Further fueling the rumors is Kourtney’s recent sobriety. Multiple witnesses have confirmed that Kourtney has not been drinking at the events she has been attending, including the Belvedere Vodka’s Wildfox Runway Show. A source confirmed that:
“They sat in the front row, and while other guests enjoyed their vodka cocktails, Kourtney didn’t drink--but Scott definitely did.”
Sources also revealed that Kourtney is waiting to make the announcement, telling OK! Magazine:
“The tradition is to wait until the second trimester before announcing--you know, just in case things go wrong. I know Kourtney and Scott have been trying, so a baby now makes sense.”
