Beard Has MVP Level Regular Season; Harden Exited Playoffs Historically, Curse Possible?

The Houston Rockets have been bounced from the NBA playoffs by the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, with MVP Steph Curry, were able to easily take down MVP runner up and Rockets star James Harden, also known as The Beard. Not only was Golden State able to win the series in 5 games, but they did so in a way that confused and frustrated the players of Houston. Harden exited these playoffs with a historically bad performance that had many looking to a possible curse for reason towards the anomaly.

Harden was historically bad on both sides of the court and all facets of the game. The only thing that was worse than Harden's offensive output were the opportunities of offense he let slip away with his record breaking 13 playoff turnovers. Fansided Hoops Habit has the breakdown of his offensive break down:

"Harden's 14 points in Game 5 were his fewest this postseason and his lowest total since Feb. 11. He scored 10 of his 14 points at the free-throw line and did not make a three-pointer, going 0-for-3 from beyond the arc. It was the first time this postseason that he failed to hit a three, ending a streak that dated back to March 12."

The mistakes Harden made on offensive could have been prevented if we are to believe the curse given to Harden from rapper Lil B. Hip Hop Wired shows the tweet that Lil B posted hours after the Rockets were eliminated, to release him of the supposed curse:

"James harden had 13 turnovers for record in NBA, he did not pay Lil B cooking dance homage that's the same number as his jersey. I'm going to ask 'The BasedGod' to lift the curse off James harden i think he gets it, world record for turnovers ? Leave him alone - Lil B."

Do you think the Lil B curse is real? Will Harden bounce back from this next season? Tell us your thoughts below.
