Ranbir Kapoor doesn't want to do a Roka with Katrina Kaif before marriage. In this country, everyone is scratching their head and thinking, "So what? Brother, Katrina is a catch. Take a dance class and you'll be fine." Roka, however, is not an Indian marriage dance for everyone.
But we need to back up. Who said they were getting married in the first place? Certainly not Ranbir. As far as he is concerned, this marriage talk is premature and, even if he and Katrina were to get married, they will not have a Roka, as it is only done for arranged marriages in India.
In an interview, Ranbir laid it on the line, "Let me clear the air. Rokas happen during arranged marriages, where the two families come together and fix the match. Then the girl is not allowed to meet other prospective grooms. That's the idea." The handsome actor further added, "You guys know my situation. It's not an arranged marriage. Why would I even need a Roka?"
Ranbir, in the mood to quash everything, also talked about marriage rumors and flatly denied there was any truth to them."Once we decide to get married, everyone will come to know. It will be one of my biggest decisions ever, so we will announce it in a big manner," he said.
Even though the marriage watch is on full alert, neither seem in too big of rush or are concerned enough to satiate the frenzy their impending nuptials is likely to cause. Ranbir, in a reflexive mood, said "Right now, I am happy and secure with my life. There is love in my life, and when we decide to take it to the next level, sabko pata chal jaayega."
So, what so you think? Do you even care? Drop us a line and tell us what's what. We'd love to hear from you.
