World's Fastest Usain Bolt Has Slow Start to Season After Injury Plagued 2014

Usain Bolt is still the world's fastest man to ever run the 100 meters, even with coming off his injury plagued 2014 campaign. With Bolt on the sidelines, competitors crept up coming close to his record time, but he still owns that title. Bolt has had a slow start to this new season after his year off but has set his sights for dominating later this summer at the world championships.

With the record for the 100 meters secured, Bolt will train and prepare for his real love -- the 200 meter event. Bolt tells ESPN about his desire to dominate in the longer race:

"The 200's my favorite event. I really focus on trying to run faster over 200. My aim is always gonna be the 200 meters. That's one of the biggest goals of my life. My start is always crap as everybody knows, I still have to work on that. The 200 meters, it's just work on little things on the corner and coming out of the corner and dropping my shoulders. I'm just trying to get everything together, leading up to the world championship. As long as everything comes together there shouldn't be a problem."

Bolt doesn't worry about the Jamaican team loss in World Relays to start this season. He knows that with coming off of an injury, his climb back to the podium may take some time, but during that time of patience, he can regain his championship form as he tells The Telegraph:

"I can definitely get to [my best] level...It's not a question. The more I run the better I feel. I never worry about one-off runs because those are stepping stones to the major championships. Going to Beijing I've set a standard for myself so I need to go there and step it up.

Can Bolt return to his record breaking runs? Will other competitors rise up against him? Tell us your thoughts below.
