It seems that Mercedes "MJ" Javid wasn't the only one who had some explaining to do after the wild bachelor party she threw for Shahs of Sunset's cast favorite, Reza Farahan. According to the latest gossip news updates, the formerly mustachioed Beverly Hills realtor wound up calling off his wedding to fiancé Adam Neely as a direct result of the over-the-top get together. Thankfully, word has it that Reza and his boyfriend are planning to get married once again, despite their little Season 4 split.
In recent weeks Shahs of Sunset reality TV star, Merced's "MJ" Javid has gone out of her way to insist that she did to right thing in giving Reza Farahan the bachelor party of his dreams, but it seems that the event directly led to his calling off his wedding to Adam Neely.
Reza recently explained on the After Show that he and Neely didn't exactly split when he decided to turn their destination wedding into an exotic vacation without him, but it seemed as though a breakup could be right around the corner (via SheKnows):
"I didn't leave in a fight but there was a lot of tension because I kind of left and I said, 'I'm going on this trip. I'm going to use this time to think, reflect, figure my sh*t out.'
"Whether that's marriage, us breaking up, us just working on our relationship, I didn't know. So, it was very hard for him. Not only am I leaving, but anything could happen when I get back."
Since returning from his getaway with the rest of the Shahs' cast in Thailand, Reza has admitted to E! News that it was really his own bad behavior that had him thinking that their marriage would be a disaster:
"I honestly didn't feel like getting married was the right thing to do.
"We had unresolved issues that needed to be addressed.
"Otherwise, there was a good chance the old, cheating Reza would have reared his head."
Although Reza may not have known if spending the rest of his life with Adam was the right move him to make when he left, during his trip Farahan came to realize that he was making a huge mistake by not working things out with the love of his life:
"Adam actually Skyped with me on the day we were supposed to get married, despite the pain he was in.
"The smile and the love than shone through made me want to go home and fix things."
While it clearly looked a bit dodgy there a moment, Reza says that he and his fiancé are practically doing better than ever and are once again making extravagant wedding plans:
"I'm happy to report that things are totally back on track and we're hoping to marry in the near future."
This way Reza can have a bachelor party every season -- just like the reunions.
