Kiefer Sutherland, who played legendary crime fighter Jack Bauer in the hit series 24, has presumably embarassed Demi Moore. While celebrating the upcoming reunion of the new 24 miniseries, he got drunk and began stripping in a club.
Wow. If you’re done vomitting at the idea of the 46-year-old actor’s striptease, then you have a stronger stomach than us. We are literally struggling to complete the rest of this article, but will forge on.
24, as you may or may not know, is being revived. The new miniseries will be titled 24: Live Another Day and will consist of 12 hour long episodes.
The series will pick up where the last 24 ended...sort of. The program will begin several years after the conclusion of Fox’s first run, which ended back in 2010.
Reprising a show that ended so long ago may mean a less successful run, but if it even comes close to the original series, it will be slam dunk for the network. After all, the orginal run saw 73 Emmy nominations in it’s eight season run.
Maybe it was all of that success that convinced Sutherland it would be a good idea to start stripping in a Canadian bar. Locals got a welcome surprise when Kiefer strutted into the Bear and Kilt Freehouse in Calgary, Canada.
Demi Moore and screenwriter Brad Mirman were by the actor’s side. Of course, they began to distance themselves slightly when he began whipping off his clothes in a drunken state.
The patrons, however, seemed amused by his ‘Striptease’-like performance, telling The Calgary Sun, “He was giving everyone the time of day. It was cool. He was very open to talking to people.”
