Freaky Friday Jodie Foster Saves Injured Jamie Lee Curtis in Serious Wreck, Driver in Hospital [UPDATE]

It’s turning out to be a very freaky Friday indeed. News broke earlier today that Jamie Lee Curtis was involved in a serious wreck. Fellow Hollywood gal-pal, Jodie Foster, rushed to scene and helped Curtis until paramedics arrived. Latest updates indicate that the driver of her vehicle is still in the hospital.

On the morning of August 1, Jamie Lee Curtis was involved in a terrible accident. While riding in the passenger seat of a black Yukon SUV, the driver crashed into a BMW. Who's the first person the former Halloween star called?

If you guessed 911, you would be wrong. She, instead, called actress turned director Jodie Foster. Foster and Curtis have been good pals for quite some time. Before Foster began creating films instead of starring in them...and before Curtis began promoting a balanced fiber content...they each starred in the film Freaky Friday.

Of course, they each starred in different versions of the film, released nearly 30 years apart. Foster appeared in the 1976 classic while Curtis starred in the 2003 remake that also featured Lindsay Lohan (who is no stranger to getting into accidents herself).

To her credit, Jodie Foster responded quickly to the accident...very quickly. The 50-year-old Oscar winner actually arrived before the paramedics, who were presumably shocked to find two (almost) A-listers.

Curtis was quickly rushed to an area hospital and has since been released. The A Fish Called Wanda actress is currenly recovering in her California residence, which isn’t too far away from where the accident occurred at, in Venice.

The driver of the Yukon remains in serious condition in the same hospital Curtis was released from.
