Reports are circulating that claim Full House star Jodie Sweetin is homeless and in rehab. The former drug and alcohol addict responds to rumors that she is living in a halfway house.
Jodie Sweetin is back in rehab....well sort of. The former child star turned meth addict insists that she is working at and not committed to an L.A. treatment facility.
Sweetin, better known a middle daughter Stephanie Tannor, went from Full House to homeless, after she filled for divorce from her husband Morty Coyle.
Jodie was recently spotted at a L.A. based rehab center sparking rumors that she was off the wagon. TMZ caught up with the actresses who called "bull s--t" on the rumors, telling reporters, "I am absolutely NOT in rehab."
Turns out Sweetin, is, in fact, in rehab, but not as a patient. The five years sober 31-year-old says she works there as a clinical logistics coordinator. Conveniently for her story, she also added that her boss let's her live in a stuido on the property.
"I work for the center and they have been really generous in helping me with a place to stay as Morty wanted me out by the end of the month,...The owners of the facility said I could stay here as I got things figured out."
Sweetin is going through her third divorce and is fighting for custody of her second child, Beatrix.
Jodie has also decided that she is no longer seeking full custody of her daughter, opting instead for joint custody so Beatrix can spend time with both her parents.
While no one from the clinic has confirmed Sweetin's story, it might not be as far fetched as it sounds.
Divorce and custody battles can be stressful on anybody, even an old pro like Jodie. It's easy to see dedicated health care professionals lending a hand to and keeping an eye on the former addict during such hard times.
