You might have been moved to cry right alongside Real Housewives of Atlanta queen bee, NeNe Leakes, at the traumatic Season 7 reunion finale recap, but her longtime frenemy Kandi Burruss still couldn't care less about the Glee guest star's emotional break through. According to the latest gossip news updates, Todd Tucker's wife is standing by her discussion to stand by the rules of their ongoing feud instead of even pretending that she actually cared for the Cinderella singer for even a moment. Word has it that despite all the current drama, the TV show's producers are thinking about bringing original Atlanta cast member Sheree Whitfield back for Season 8 -- with Andy Cohen going so far as to tell the world that he is still obsessed with the former reality television starlet recently on Twitter.
While NeNe Leakes emotional breakdown at this year's Season 7 Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion was enough to even solicit a moment of empathy from NeNe Leakes' current nemesis, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss could not have less moved by her co-star's outburst.
Todd Tucker's new wife told the NY Post's Page Six that she didn't think it would be right for her to pretend to care about NeNe Leakes' feelings after all the disruptive diva has said and doneto her just because it suddenly became a popular move on stage at that moment:
"Overall, Nene and I have been arguing that whole day and I am not the person that she would have wanted to console her.
"And secondly, if the shoe was on the other foot, she would not have come to console me.
"If I got up to console Nene, I would be fake.
"So I just chose to be real with myself...I did not know what she was crying about so I was not going to jump up to her rescue."
Although they seem to have more than enough drama to keep all their Real Housewives' cameramen busy during shooting season, the Bravo producers are said to be thinking about bringing back an old cast favorite to the show just to kick things up one more notch.
A secret behind-the-scenes source with production told the Inquisitr that since the specter of Sheree Whitfield seemed to haunt the current cast years after her departure, they figured they might as well just bring her back and just make it official:
"If you noticed on [Sunday] night's reunion, Sheree's name kept getting brought up. That wasn't by accident.
"There definitely is still interest in [Sheree Whitfield] from the fans as well. A return from her would definitely make sense at this point in time."
Let's hope that whatever the powers that be decide to do with the Atlanta cast in Season 8 that they have the commonsense to bring back all the heavyweights to finally finish what was started in 2015.
