‘Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner “Loved” Sansa Stark Ramsay Bolton Rape Scene [BOYCOTT]

Major Spoiler Alert: Last weekend, HBO’s Game of Thrones may have crossed a major line, when Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) raped Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) on their wedding night. The scene has divided fans who are fed up with the show’s constant use of rape as a plot device, especially after last year’s scene where Jaime Lannister rapes his sister Cersei. Many fans are calling for a boycott of the show. Now, Sophie Turner is opening up about scene, claiming that she loved it.

Following last weekend’s controversial ending, Sansa Stark actress Sophie Turner spoke to Entertainment Weekly, stateing:

“When I got the scripts, it was bit like, dude, I felt so bad for her. But I also felt excited because it was so sick, and being reunited with Theon too, and seeing how their relationship plays out. Theon’s a member of the Stark clan but she thinks he totally betrayed and killed her brothers. It’s a messed-up relationship between them.”

Turner went on to shock fans when she said that she actually loved the scene:

“When I read that scene, I kinda loved it. I love the way Ramsay had Theon watching. It was all so messed up. It’s also so daunting for me to do it. I’ve been making [producer Bryan Cogman] feel so bad for writing that scene: ‘I can’t believe you’re doing this to me!’ But I secretly loved it.”
