Bruce Jenner Car Wreck Update: Killed Woman's Family Sues Transgendered Star

As the new two-part series About Bruce debuts on E! tonight, many will likely be reminded of Bruce Jenner's unfortunate car wreck that occurred earlier in the year, which resulted in the death of one person. It was recently revealed that the family of the woman who was killed in the accident has sued the transgendered reality star. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel recently bashed the former Olympian on his late night show.

Tonight is the big night for Bruce Jenner.

While he should be celebrating the debut of About Bruce with ex-wife Kris Jenner, Bruce will likely have something weighing on his mind. According to a number of reports, the family of the woman who Bruce Jenner allegedly killed in a car wreck is suing Bruce.

This could be quite costly for the reality star, as Los Angeles Times tells readers that Kim Howe's family is taking Bruce Jenner to the cleaners:

"The stepchildren of a woman killed in a car crash involving Bruce Jenner filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the Olympian, accusing him of being negligent...William Howe and Dana Redmond, the stepchildren of Kim Howe, 69, say Jenner is responsible for causing her death and 'damage to her effects'...They said they have suffered 'enormous damages and losses.'"

Of course, this isn't the only reason that Bruce Jenner finds himself in the news.

Bruce has frequently been the butt of the joke when it comes to late night talk shows. But the most recent offender has to be Jimmy Kimmel.

Earlier in the week, Jimmy happened to use Bruce as an example while he was praising the diversity of ABC's lineup. Luckily, Fox News tells readers that Jimmy wasn't too hard on poor Brucie:

"Jimmy Kimmel made light of Bruce Jenner's high-profile interview with Diane Sawyer where he revealed that he is transgender...During his monologue for Tuesday's ABC Upfronts, the late-night host took aim at the network's upcoming programming rundown, saying it 'has people of color, women and men turning into women.'"

What do you think of the latest reports? Do you think Bruce will be found guilty in court? Should Jimmy be teasing Bruce after everything has been through?
