Kelly Clarkson, former American Idol winner, is engaged. On Thursday, the singer leaked photos of herself wearing a wedding dress on Twitter. But, is this the dress she will be wearing during her upcoming marriage?
Unlike a lot of celebrities, Kelly Clarkson has already announced the date of her wedding. She will be marrying Brandon Blackstock, a famous talent manager, in October of this year.
The pair began dating last year and announced in November that the pair were getting serious. By December, Clarkson revealed her stunning engagement ring, along with a caption describing the ring:
“Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is. It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt! They did an amazing job!”
It is unlikely that this white dress will also be the one worn at the wedding...especially considering how Clarkson has described the dress in the past:
"It is my personality in a dress. It's sweetly damaged. A little rock and roll. A little tattered. Nothing like a princess thing!"
Clarkson loves to keep in touch with her friends via Twitter. In fact, this is how she announced her engagement in the first place, telling friends and fans:
"I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever."
If Thursday’s photo is any indication, Ms. Clarkson is going to make a stunning bride. Even though Kelly told Ellen the two were going to elope, we are glad that she’s had a change of mind.
