Jimmy Fallon and his lovely wife Nancy Juvonen have welcomed into the world their first baby. On July 24, Jimmy revealed the name and gender of his new child...Winnie. Fallon also showed pics of his daughter to his audience and the world.
Like most new fathers, Jimmy can’t stop showing off his newest bundle of joy. Jimmy, the 38-year-old late-night host, and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, are delighted by the new addition to their family.
Nancy, who is nearly a decade older than Jimmy, has remained relatively silent on the matters. Jimmy, on the other hand, can’t stop gushing. In fact, he delivered a heartfelt (and really funny) monologue the day after Winne’s birth, saying:
“It’s been a crazy couple days, well actually, just one day. It was just yesterday. It feels like I’ve had a four day conference. It’s very taxing on the fathers. I don’t know how it is for the mothers, but very taxing. I’m emotionally drained. I’m the father of a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Winnie Rose Fallon and she’s so cute. She’s 5 lbs., 9 oz. Me and my wife are so happy. Thank you all for all the well-wishes on Facebook and Twitter and the blogs. I’m just so happy.”
The couple was married back in 2007. While Jimmy is the most famous, his wife is a big deal behind the scenes in Hollywood. She is actually a producer at Flower Films--Drew Barrymore’s production company.
It’s been a pretty good year for Jimmy Fallon. Not only did he become a father, but he will also be taking over The Tonight Show in the following year. Anyone who takes a job from Jay Leno is a friend in our book.
